Ah, the lovely millenial pink places in London. London is full of them! I'm not gonna lie, I've been a pink lover through and through all my life - before the days of Elle Woods (when Legally Blonde came out, I was obsessed with that movie!). But what a joy it now is to find pink everywhere because it's currently in!
So, let me introduce you to the pink places in London - Camden edition. This is a bit of a cheat because this wall/house is just off Kentish Town, but I'm going to include it in anyway! I've got another post coming up for Kentish Town & some more pink places soon though, so keep your eyes peeled!
So, one of my closest friends Chantelle (who also said - "Nat, can you give me some guidance on how I should look in pictures?" and I go, "sure" and then she just starts working the camera as if she's known it all her life?! Like what!? haha) came up to London for the day so we could hang. What a day it was! We went to Camden because she hadn't been before and I had been wanting to try out Mamason's Dirty Ice Cream. Their outside is done up in a baby pink colour and I LOVE it! However, they're not just an ice cream place! We tried London's first Ube (pronounced oo-bay) hot chocolate there. What is Ube, you ask? Well, it's actually a vegetable. Yup, you heard me. VEGETABLE. It's a purple yam that you can commonly find in the Philippines, but is also used as a popular dessert flavour. Now, I'm not gonna lie - I was totes sceptical on this one. A vegetable hot chocolate? Pff. I've tried sweet potato flavoured ice-cream and no one's making me do that again.
But I was SO pleasantly surprised...
They gave us a little taste of it and I was blown away by its sweetness. I then of course ordered the hot chocolate version of it (because they do ube ice creams too), and again, blown away! It was so sweet and I was actually so impressed I almost preferred it to normal chocolate (I said almost people, calm down).
I have yet to try their gorge ice cream sandwiches all their wonderful delicacies, but for now, enjoy photos of it! Also, this wall is down on Leverton Street just passed Kentish Town station if you happen to be wondering.
Also, these gorgeous rings are from the wonderful Gemholic. I love this minimalist style and they do them in gold too! I had been finding it so hard to find rings that I loved, and I thought these made the most wonderful blend together!
^Excited little me over this hot chocolate. YUM!
That's it for now my lovelies. Stick around for Pink Places in Camden part 2 and Pink Places in Kentish Town, coming to your screens very soon!
Love,
Nat
