Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fondue is so delightful...
Mmmm!!
Did someone say chocolate fondue and winter cozy terraces?! Yes please!
Earlier this year I found out about the Churchill Terrace at the Hyatt Regency in Marble Arch and that they did a winter terrace. I literally couldn't believe I missed out on the whole Narnia theme (NARNIA IS THE BEST!!) last year, but this year's terrace looked pretty delightful still. We walked in on Friday afternoon, and it was so quiet. We picked our place towards the back where the comfy sofas and picture perfect corner was.
I wrapped myself around with a cozy blanket sitting on top of a sheepskin rug, which actually kept me warm as I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered a coffee for Nathan and the chocolate fondue straight away. Not gonna lie, I was totally ready to order the cheese fondue too, but trust me - one fondue is enough for two!!
I absolutely love a good winter lodge or terrace as long as I'm kept cozy inside. I love all the cozy vibes, and the Churchill terrace did not fail me at all!
Its decor was so pretty and well thought out, including a basket full of pine cones!
Look at all the winter vibes!! When we get our own house, the sheepskin are coming out at winter time!
The fondue finally came and we were so ready. It came with marshmallows, pineapple, strawberry, and biscuits and the chocolate in a gorgeous copper bowl with two candles underneath to keep it lit and from hardening.
We pretty much demolished it except for the last two biscuits - I loved it so much but it gets to a point where you're just too filled with chocolate!
Supes cute vibes. If you're looking for a winter terrace to have cozy fun with friends and enjoy some good marshmallow dipping - I would totally recommend the Churchill Terrace at the Hyatt Regency this winter!
Plenty more Christmasy stuff coming your way soon!
Love,
Nat xx
Just a little passage to you this week about Abraham's faith in God - telling us exactly how wonderful God our Father is -
Romans 4:16 - 17, "Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not."
